Spanish Forward Gas Update – 22/01/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (January 21st), reference prices showed different movement. Mont-ahead price moved down while longer-term prices remained stable.
On the 21st, 53 GWh were traded for delivery in Feb-21 and 31 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21.
Regarding reference prices:
Feb-21 price decreased to 21.75 €/MWh (-1.41 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price increased to 17.65 €/MWh (+0.13 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price remained stable at 17.85 €/MWh.
On the 21st, Brent barrel price increased to 56.10 $/bbl (+0.02 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price went up to 34.11 €/t (+1.20 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 21st TTF MA price decreased to 20.14 €/MWh (-0.09 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 20.30 €/MWh (-0.13 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was traded at 16.63 €/MWh (+0.04 €/MWh).
