Spanish Forward Gas Update – 26/01/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (January 25th), reference prices moved down in all maturities due to the fall of European prices.
On the 25th, 86 GWh were traded for delivery in Feb-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Feb-21 price decreased to 22.03 €/MWh (-0.85 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price moved down to 17.60 €/MWh (-0.36 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price went down to 17.68 €/MWh (-0.24 €/MWh).
On the 25th, Brent barrel price increased to 55.88 $/bbl (+0.47 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price went down to 33.16 €/t (-1.08 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 25th TTF MA price decreased to 20.19 €/MWh (-1.26 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 20.23 €/MWh (-1.27 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was traded at 16.42 €/MWh (-0.26 €/MWh).
