Spanish Forward Gas Update – 12/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 11th), reference prices decreased in all maturities influenced by the fall of European prices.
On the 11th, 18.6 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price moved down to 16.68 €/MWh (-1.20 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went down to 16.76 €/MWh (-0.70 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price decreased to 17.87 €/MWh (-0.51 €/MWh).
On the 11th, Brent barrel price was 61.14 $/bbl (-0.33 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price decreased to 38.76 €/t (-0.57 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 11th TTF MA price decreased to 17.40 €/MWh (-1.18 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 18.26 €/MWh (-1.07 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was traded at 17.29 €/MWh (-0.36 €/MWh).
