Spanish Forward Gas Update – 16/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 15th), reference prices decreased in all maturities due to lower European prices.
On the 15th, 30.1 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21 and 6 GWh were traded for delivery in Apr-21.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price moved down to 15.70 €/MWh (-1.05 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went down to 15.82 €/MWh (-0.74 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price decreased to 17.63 €/MWh (-0.24 €/MWh).
On the 15th, Brent barrel price was 63.30 $/bbl (+0.87 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price dropped to 39.52 €/t (-0.50 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 15th TTF MA price decreased to 16.57 €/MWh (-1.03 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 16.28 €/MWh (-1.08 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was traded at 16.72 €/MWh (-0.18 €/MWh).
