Spanish Forward Gas Update – 17/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 16th), reference prices increased in all maturities due to the upward pressures in European gas markets.
On the 16th, 38.8 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21 and 7.2 GWh were traded for delivery in Apr-21.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price moved up to 16.14 €/MWh (+0.44 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went up to 16.34 €/MWh (+0.52 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price increased to 17.71 €/MWh (+0.08 €/MWh).
On the 16th, Brent barrel price was 63.35 $/bbl (+0.05 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price dropped to 38.86 €/t (-0.66 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 16th TTF MA price decreased to 16.69 €/MWh (+0.12 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 16.50 €/MWh (+0.22 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 remained stable at 16.72 €/MWh.
