Spanish Forward Gas Update – 18/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 17th), reference prices decreased in all maturities due to lower European gas prices.
On the 17th, 68.2 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21 and 6 GWh were traded for delivery in Apr-21.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price moved down to 16.00 €/MWh (-0.14 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went down to 16.21 €/MWh (-0.13 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price decreased to 17.63 €/MWh (-0.08 €/MWh).
On the 17th, Brent barrel price was 64.34 $/bbl (+0.99 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price dropped to 38.09 €/t (-0.77 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 17th TTF MA price decreased to 16.55 €/MWh (-0.14 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 16.38 €/MWh (-0.12 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 16.69 €/MWh (-0.03 €/MWh).
