Spanish Forward Gas Update – 26/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 25th), reference prices moved down in all maturities due to the decrease in European gas markets.
On the 25th, 22.3 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price decreased to 15.43 €/MWh (-0.45 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went down to 15.88 €/MWh (-0.49 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price moved down to 17.45 €/MWh (-0.31 €/MWh).
On the 25th, Brent barrel price was 66.88 $/bbl (-0.16 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved down to 38.26 €/t (-0.89 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 25th TTF MA price decreased to 15.90 €/MWh (-0.45 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 15.79 €/MWh (-0.34 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 16.53 €/MWh (-0.22 €/MWh).
