Spot gas ES – 03/02/2021
Spanish DA gas price moves up while intraday auction price decreases slightly. Demand level remains stable.
Volume traded in DA contracts for delivery on the 3rd amounts to 38.3 GWh. Total spot volumes traded on MIBGAS for delivery on the 2nd amounted to 154 GWh.
Spanish DA reference price for the 3rd moves up to 18.11 €/MWh (+0.23 €/MWh) with respect to previous day. Intraday auction price for the 3rd decreases to 17.68 €/MWh (-0.07 €/MWh).
Demand forecast for the 3rd increases slightly to 1,007 GWh (+8 GWh) with respect to previous day. Conventional demand goes up to 912 GWh (+4 GWh), and power sector demand moves up to 90 GWh (+4 GWh).
On the 2nd, LNG inflows were 44.5% of total supply.
On the European gas markets: TTF end of day price for the 3rd is 18.17 €/MWh (+0.02 €/MWh) and PEG price increases to 18.17 €/MWh (+0.11 €/MWh).
