Spot gas ES – 04/02/2021

Spanish spot gas prices go down.

Volume traded in DA contracts for delivery on the 4^th amounts to 41 GWh. Total spot volumes traded on MIBGAS for delivery on the 3^rd amounted to 99 GWh.

Spanish DA reference price for the 4^th moves down to 17.47 €/MWh (-0.31 €/MWh) with respect to previous day. Intraday auction price for the 4^th decreases slightly to 17.66 €/MWh (-0.02 €/MWh).

Demand forecast for the 4^th increases to 1,115 GWh (+75 GWh) with respect to previous day. Conventional demand goes up to 928 GWh (+3 GWh), and power sector demand moves up to 187 GWh (+72 GWh) due to lower wind production.

On the 3^rd, LNG inflows were 47.4% of total supply. There were no inflows from France.

On the European gas markets: TTF end of day price for the 4^th decreases to 18.00 €/MWh (-0.17 €/MWh) and PEG price moves down to 17.79 €/MWh (-0.38 €/MWh).
