Spanish DA gas price moves up while intraday auction price goes down influenced by decreasing demand.
Volume traded in DA contracts for delivery on the 18th amounts to 48.8 GWh. Total spot volumes traded on MIBGAS for delivery on the 17th amounted to 120 GWh, 11.6 % of daily demand. Intraday auction price tends to be more responsive to demand variations.
Spanish DA reference price for the 18th goes up to 16.43 €/MWh (+0.30 €/MWh) with respect to previous day. Intraday auction price for the 18th decreases to 16.30 €/MWh (-0.20 €/MWh).
Demand forecast for the 18th goes down to 1,031 GWh (-16 GWh) with respect to previous day. Conventional demand decreases to 918 GWh (-9 GWh) and power sector demand decreases to 113 GWh (-7 GWh).
On the 17th, LNG inflows were 43.3% of total supply. There were no inflows from France.
On the European gas markets: TTF end of day price for the 18th moves down to 16.55 €/MWh (-0.14 €/MWh) and PEG price goes down to 16.38 €/MWh (-0.12 €/MWh).
