Spanish Forward Gas Update – 01/03/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 26th), month and quarter-ahead prices decreased while year-ahead price increased slightly.
On the 26th, there were no exchanges reported in forward contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Apr-21 price decreased to 15.65 €/MWh (-0.09 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went down to 15.70 €/MWh (-0.18 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price moved up to 17.48 €/MWh (+0.03 €/MWh).
On the 26th, Brent barrel price was 64.42 $/bbl (-1.69 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved down to 37.28 €/t (-0.98 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 26th TTF MA price decreased to 15.72 €/MWh (-0.18 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 15.62 €/MWh (-0.17 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 16.49 €/MWh (-0.04 €/MWh).
