Spanish Forward Gas Update – 03/03/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (March 2nd), reference prices moved down in all maturities due to the decrease in oil prices and in European forward gas prices.
On the 2nd, there were no exchanges reported in April-21 contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Apr-21 price decreased to 15.80 €/MWh (-0.25 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went down to 15.88 €/MWh (-0.27 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price moved down to 17.43 €/MWh (-0.20 €/MWh).
On the 2nd, Brent barrel price was 62.70 $/bbl (-0.99 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved up to 38.35 €/t (+1.22 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 2nd TTF MA price decreased to 15.89 €/MWh (-0.16 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 15.71 €/MWh (-0.17 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 16.57 €/MWh (-0.08 €/MWh).
