Spanish Forward Gas Update – 05/03/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (March 4th), reference prices moved up in all maturities due to the increase in European gas markets.
On the 4th, 15 GWh were traded for delivery in Apr-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Apr-21 price increased to 15.83 €/MWh (+0.33 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went up to 15.95 €/MWh (+0.40 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price moved up to 17.68 €/MWh (+0.25 €/MWh).
On the 4th, Brent barrel price was 64.74 $/bbl (+0.67 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved up to 38.16 €/t (+0.69 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 4th TTF MA price increased to 15.98 €/MWh (+0.42 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went up to 15.78 €/MWh (+0.43 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 16.65 €/MWh (+0.20 €/MWh).
