Spanish Forward Gas Update – 12/03/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (March 11th), reference prices moved up in all maturities due to the increase in European forward gas prices.
On the 11th, 110 GWh were traded for delivery in Apr-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Apr-21 price increased to 17.52 €/MWh (+0.27 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went up to 17.80 €/MWh (+0.30 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price moved up to 18.93 €/MWh (+0.30 €/MWh).
On the 11th, Brent barrel price was 69.63 $/bbl (+1.73 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved up to 41.93 €/t (+0.39 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 11th TTF MA price increased to 18.14 €/MWh (+0.60 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went up to 17.97 €/MWh (+0.58 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 17.93 €/MWh (+0.26 €/MWh).
