Spot gas ES – 15/03/2021
Spanish spot gas prices go up due to increasing European gas prices and higher demand.
Volume traded in DA contracts for delivery on the 15th amounts to 7.4 GWh. Total spot volumes traded on MIBGAS for delivery on the 14th amounted to 62.9 GWh.
Spanish DA reference price for the 15th goes up to 18.95 €/MWh (+1.17 €/MWh) with respect to previous Friday. Intraday auction price for the 15th increases to 19.10 €/MWh (+1.15 €/MWh).
Demand forecast for the 15th increases to 1,107 GWh (+94 GWh) with respect to previous Friday consolidated demand. Conventional demand goes up to 952 GWh (+32 GWh) and power sector demand moves up to 155 GWh (+60 GWh).
On the European gas markets: TTF end of day price for the 15th increases to 18.57 €/MWh (+0.40 €/MWh) and PEG price moves up to 18.24 €/MWh (+0.38 €/MWh).
