Spanish Forward Gas Update – 01/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (January 29th), reference prices moved down in all maturities due to the fall of European prices.
On the 29th, 40.6 GWh were traded for delivery in Feb-21 and 21.7 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price decreased to 19.75 €/MWh (-1.08 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price moved down to 17.50 €/MWh (-0.15 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price went up to 17.75 €/MWh (-0.17 €/MWh).
On the 29th, Brent barrel price decreased to 55.04 $/bbl (-0.06 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved down to 32.95 €/t (-1.00 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 29th TTF MA price decreased to 19.86 €/MWh (+0.98 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 19.68 €/MWh (-1.07 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was traded at 16.60 €/MWh (-0.10 €/MWh).
