Spanish Forward Gas Update – 03/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 2nd), reference prices barely changed.
On the 2nd, 48 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price moved down to 18.06 €/MWh (-0.04 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went up to 16.96 €/MWh (+0.08 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price was 17.55 €/MWh (+0.01 €/MWh).
On the 2nd, Brent barrel price decreased to 57.46 $/bbl (+1.11 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved up to 34.97 €/t (+2.02 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 2nd TTF MA price increased to 18.31 €/MWh (+0.11 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went up to 18.23 €/MWh (+0.30 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was traded at 16.48 €/MWh (+0.05 €/MWh).
