Spanish Forward Gas Update – 08/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 5th), reference prices moved up in all maturities due to increasing European prices.
On the 5th, 9.3 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21 and 3.6 GWh were traded for delivery in Apr-21.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price moved up to 18.23 €/MWh (+0.40 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went up to 17.31 €/MWh (+0.22 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price increased to 18.20 €/MWh (+0.40 €/MWh).
On the 5th, Brent barrel price was 59.34 $/bbl (+0.50 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved up to 38.20 €/t (+0.93 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 5th TTF MA price increased to 18.40 €/MWh (+0.22 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went up to 18.19 €/MWh (+0.17 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was traded at 17.08 €/MWh (+0.28 €/MWh).
