Spot gas ES – 10/02/2021

Spanish spot gas prices go down due to the decrease in demand and the drop of European gas prices.

Volume traded in DA contracts for delivery on the 10^th amounts to 69.4 GWh. Total spot volumes traded on MIBGAS for delivery on the 9^th amounted to 126 GWh.

Spanish DA reference price for the 10^th drops to 18.19 €/MWh (-0.74 €/MWh) with respect to previous day. Intraday auction price for the 10^th decreases to 18.49 €/MWh (-0.41 €/MWh).

Demand forecast for the 10^th decreases to 1,073 GWh (-7 GWh) with respect to previous day. Conventional demand goes down to 990 GWh (-19 GWh) and power sector demand increases to 83 GWh (+12 GWh).

On the 9^th, LNG inflows were 43.5% of total supply. There were no inflows from France.

On the European gas markets: TTF end of day price for the 10^th decreases to 19.81 €/MWh (-0.92 €/MWh) and PEG price moves down to 19.55 €/MWh (-0.87 €/MWh).
