Spanish Forward Gas Update – 15/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 12th), reference prices showed different movements depending on the maturity.
On the 12th, 12.4 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price moved up to 16.75 €/MWh (+0.07 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went down to 16.56 €/MWh (-0.20 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price remained stable at 17.87 €/MWh.
On the 12th, Brent barrel price was 62.43 $/bbl (+1.29 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price increased to 40.02 €/t (+1.26 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 12th TTF MA price increased to 17.60 €/MWh (+0.20 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went up to 17.36 €/MWh (+0.18 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was traded at 16.90 €/MWh (-0.03 €/MWh).
