Spanish Forward Gas Update – 22/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 19th), reference prices decreased in all maturities due to the fall in European gas markets.
On the 19th, 24.8 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price moved down to 16.15 €/MWh (-0.28 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went down to 16.38 €/MWh (-0.34 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price decreased to 17.60 €/MWh (-0.31 €/MWh).
On the 19th, Brent barrel price was 62.91 $/bbl (-1.02 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved down to 37.40 €/t (-0.92 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 19th TTF MA price decreased to 16.55 €/MWh (-0.78 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went down to 16.27 €/MWh (-0.70 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 16.62 €/MWh (-0.31 €/MWh).
