Spanish Forward Gas Update – 24/02/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (February 23rd), reference prices moved up in all maturities due to the increase in European gas markets.
On the 23rd, 31.62 GWh were traded for delivery in Mar-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Mar-21 price moved up to 15.92 €/MWh (+0.32 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went up to 16.23 €/MWh (+0.30 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price increased to 17.58 €/MWh (+0.26 €/MWh).
On the 23rd, Brent barrel price was 65.37 $/bbl (+0.13 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved up to 38.67 €/t (+0.71 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 23rd TTF MA price increased to 16.26 €/MWh (+0.29 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went up to 16.09 €/MWh (+0.20 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 16.60 €/MWh (+0.20 €/MWh).
