Spanish Forward Gas Update – 02/03/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (March 1st), reference prices moved up in all maturities due to the increase in European gas markets.
On the 1st, there were no exchanges in forward contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Apr-21 price increased to 16.05 €/MWh (+0.40 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went up to 16.15 €/MWh (+0.45 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price moved up to 17.63 €/MWh (+0.15 €/MWh).
On the 1st, Brent barrel price was 63.69 $/bbl (-0.73 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved down to 37.13 €/t (-0.15 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 1st TTF MA price increased to 15.05 €/MWh (+0.33 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went up to 15.88 €/MWh (+0.26 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 16.65 €/MWh (+0.16 €/MWh).
