Spanish DA gas price moves up while intraday auction goes down due to the decrease in demand. Spanish intraday auction price tends to be more responsive to demand variations.
Volume traded in DA contracts for delivery on the 5th amounts to 42.1 GWh. Total spot volumes traded on MIBGAS for delivery on the 4th amounted to 88 GWh, 8.3 % of daily demand.
Spanish DA reference price for the 5th goes up to 16.13 €/MWh (+0.03 €/MWh) with respect to previous day. Intraday auction price for the 5th decreases to 16.30 €/MWh (-0.10 €/MWh).
Demand forecast for the 5th decreases to 1,062 GWh (-93 GWh) with respect to previous day consolidated demand. Conventional demand goes down to 928 GWh (-26 GWh) due to lower industrial consumption on Fridays. Power sector demand moves down to 134 GWh (-67 GWh).
On the 4th, LNG inflows were 39.3 % of total supply. Inflows from France amounted to 54 GWh, 4.9 % of total supply.
On the European gas markets: TTF end of day price for the 5th increases to 16.38 €/MWh (+0.45 €/MWh) and PEG price moves down to 16.11 €/MWh (+0.53 €/MWh).
