Spanish Forward Gas Update – 08/03/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (March 5th), reference prices moved up in all maturities due to the upward pressures in European gas markets.
On the 5th, 25.2 GWh were traded for delivery in Apr-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Apr-21 price increased to 16.13 €/MWh (+0.30 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went up to 16.40 €/MWh (+0.45 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price moved up to 18.03 €/MWh (+0.35 €/MWh).
On the 5th, Brent barrel price was 69.36 $/bbl (+2.62 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved up to 39.02 €/t (+0.86 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 5th TTF MA price increased to 16.37 €/MWh (+0.39 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went up to 16.18 €/MWh (+0.42 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 17.00 €/MWh (+0.35 €/MWh).
