Spanish Forward Gas Update – 10/03/2021
On the last day reported on the Spanish forward gas market (March 9th), reference prices moved up in all maturities influenced by the increase in European forward gas prices.
On the 9th, 13.2 GWh were traded for delivery in Apr-21. There were no exchanges reported in longer-term contracts.
Regarding reference prices:
Apr-21 price increased to 16.52 €/MWh (+0.47 €/MWh).
Q2-21 price went up to 16.75 €/MWh (+0.40 €/MWh).
Cal-22 price moved up to 18.28 €/MWh (+0.30 €/MWh).
On the 9th, Brent barrel price was 67.52 $/bbl (-0.72 $/bbl) and CO2 Dec-21 price moved up to 40.65 €/t (+1.52 €/t).
On the European gas markets: on the 9th TTF MA price increased to 16.93 €/MWh (+0.77 €/MWh) and PEG MA price went up to 16.73 €/MWh (+0.74 €/MWh). TTF Cal-22 was 17.29 €/MWh (+0.33 €/MWh).
